Hi and welcome to the site. I think your question got a bit overlooked from yesterday as ussually this is an easy one for many of our regulars to answer. From the brief checking I did it would appear their are several possible color schemes. One being either "Field Grey"or more accurately "Panzergrau". And the other would be a Africa Corps version. Which do you want to build?
Cheers,
Jim

Rde,
I found a link to a set of Africa Korp paints that you might be interested in. (Link below)
They are all Model Master enamels. Looks like an outstanding set. Should be a good start. If nothing else you can write down the individual colors that come in the set and just buy what you need.
Hope this helps.

Some explanation.
The tanks of the early Afrika Korps (DAK) were shipped over in the European scheme of dunkelgrau (dark grey, sometimes called 'panzergrey'). Soon after arrival they were plastered with mud to camouflage them.
Eventually a brownish sand paint was used, sometimes with a greyish green (or possibly brown) overspray.

Scroll down the page in the link for more of the explanation. The Testors set provides the colours described above, or you could go for Tamiya XF-59.
As the desert conditions were harsh on paints, the dark grey often showed through the sand brown.

In the beginning they arrived in their panzer grey splender, to be repainted in DAK yellow in theater.
The set that Shaun suggested would be a good starting point, with the addition of a bottle of panzer grey.

In their arrival to North Afrika de DAK vehicles were all in Dark Grey scheme (Dunkelgrau). Then in Mardch 1941it was directed by order HM 1941, no. 281, that in place of the Dark Grey all vehicles must be painted in a base color of Yellow Brown (Ral 8000) with mottling and camouflage patern of Gray Green (RAL 7008).
Order HM 1942, no. 315, dated in March 1942 specified a new color scheme for the vehicles operating in NA, that was the Brown (Ral 8020). In that time the Dark Grey was in use and it was allowed to use it with the Brown, the no. 7027 was asigned to the Dark Grey by the same order. The most common scheme of this period was the overall Brown, but some vehicles did carry mottling of Dark Grey.
At the end of the DAK in 1943 the vehicles that arrived as replacements were painted in Dark Yellow (Dunkelgelb)
I think that a scheme of Dark Grey with some dust sprayed over could be an option for the early period.

OK everyone has told you how the real tanks looked. I would recommend you purchase a bottle of Modelmasters Afrika braun #2102 and get a bottle of either Panzer Schwartzgrau # 2094 or use a dark gray color you already have. Paint the entire model with the Af. braun color then go back and drybush the gray color in to show the wearing off of the brown ex[posing the initial color of gray underneath. If you don't have a large paint collection then I would recommend the set that Shaun recommended as some of the compnenets can be used on other kits as well

Carlos----- thank you for the explanation of the colors.
I have the set that Shaun recommended in preparation for an up comming project. And now I understand the use for the different colors included.
