Just a short post to let everyone know I have returned home from Rehab, still have two legs.... Thank God, but now using a shinny walking stick, more commonly known as a cane. My return to work is not yet known, but happy to be able to access Armorama, again.
I want to personally thank everyone for their kind phone calls, shocking me at the rehab with so many over seas calls..... All I can say is I truely love yous guys, and missed each of you dearly..
I was, and still am sadden over the loss of my light hearted, friendly banter buddy, Gary. May he rest in peace, and always be remembered here at Armorama for his continued input, and humor.
I also want to personally thank Pvt Parts and his family for the visits, and items they sent to the grumpyoldman while being taugh how to walk again. (Especially the Dunkin Donut coffee's, and my favorite Hawaiian style shirts.....
I also owe an apology to the members, as to my not being able to make the NJHMA show and take the photos promised, and meet some of the newer members. Unfortunately even though I was granted a pass to go to the show, for the day, we suffered a trerrible amount of rainfall the previous days, and the area surrounding the rehab was flooded out, with the hi-way in and out closed and under water.
Hopefully, my leg, my doctor, and the weather will allow me to make it to the NJIPMS show this coming weekend.
It is honestly nice to be back home, and on line again.

Dave,
Very good to hear you are up and hobling around! Having just been sick for a week myself I know how nice it feels to start down the road to being a bit more normal again.
Have fun at the show!
Take care,
Jim

Welcome back G.O.M. Take care of yourself. I for one have had enough "virtual funerals" to last me for quite a while. Do what your Doc tells you to, eat your vegetables, get plenty of rest, and keep on posting.
