Looks nice Chad. I see that you placed the M1 Garand and holder on the windshield. You know that it was bolted onto the windshield itself and would have been covered by the tarp, right? Just wanting to be sure for you.

Looks great, Chad. Will you be weathering it? Right now it looks factory fresh. Also, I don't know if it's just that the second pic is out of focus in that area, but I would say that the area around the shovel and axe could use a dark wash as the tools look like they are moulded to the vehicle.
Is the windshield cover made of foil? Looks excellent.

Glad to help Chad. If you want some detail pics, go here:
http://www.tanxheaven.com/ljs/jeepljs/jeepljs.htm
(Note however that in the bunch are Ford Jeep pics which showe definite feature differences to the Willys version)
I've been on there a lot because I'm fully decking out a Willys, rivets and everything. I'm doing a German captured one that was reclaimed by 82nd Airborne troopers in Normandy. It's decked out in German 3 color camo but has an white star on OD cloth draped over its grille. Talk about an oddball Jeep, eh?

Thanks I will be doing some weathering I think the second pic is a bit out of focus I really need to take better closeups
The windsheild canvas is Kleenex tissue paper with white glue/water mix brushed on
Eric
That does sound like an oddball Jeep I look forward to seeing it

Chad, the jeep looks very nice. I would, however recommend a dark wash, followed by drybrushing a lighter shade of O.D. than that of the model. This will really do a great job of making the jeep look more three dimensional, and show off the nooks and attachments on the jeep! Keep up the good work!
