This is a Hasegawa 1/72 M3 Lee Mk.1 I picked up at Teleford. I usually build 1/35, but thought I would mix it up a bit. It's almost complete. I have to airbrush some dust to the lower hull and then do some pin washes and dry brushing, but for the most part it is done. The kit is built right out of the box except for the stowage which was built with Miliput. It has been a fun kit so far, and I think it will turn out good once it is complete. I plan on finishing it up soon. I hope to start the base for it this weekend.
I placed one of my Challenge coins next to it for size comparison.

That's a nice little Lee you've got there! Nicely done. How well did it go together? The stowage looks good. I can't wait to see this one finished! What are your plans for the base?
I recently posted my 1/72 Lee from Mirage. That was another fun kit, but way up there in the parts count!
If you want, you can see it here
Looks good!

Yours is a very nice kit as well. Congrats on the medal. I plan on putting it on a small base with a country lane. I want to try out some heiki grass i bought as well as try out a sea foam tree. Hopefully it will all pull together ok.

Not sure that US M3s were fitted with sand shields. Hasegawa also made a Grant and I think they got lazy when issuing the US M3 and didn't alter the moulds.
V nicely finished model.

Very nice job on an old standard kit. It is a joy to see those older models being brought out to see the light of day once again.
