Joe
Words cannot express my feelings for you and your family. My best mate committed suicide many years ago and never a day goes by that I don't think of him - probably because with work we have reports of all deaths (coroners) and tragically we have up to 3 suicides a week here out of a population of 82000.
Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it, and my prayers are with you and your family.

Joe,
At this sad time try to remember the good times and do not try to apportion blame as that is a road to more pain. Look into the light of the dawn on the horizon and try to feel some peace which may give you all the chance to rest and grieve.
God Bless
John

As a physician Joe, All I can add is be with your family and friends. Help each other through this. Although it may not seem that way now, things will get better. Your son and you and your family will be in our prayers.

Joe,
This song was also played during the funeral of my friend.....the songtext really fitted into the whole story. I don't know if the same goes for you but for me this song means a lot and maybe it can also mean a lot for you....
Anouk - One Word
I close my eyes
And imagine you're here
Did it all seem so hopeless
Given the chance
I would ask
Forgive me
I didn't do a thing to make you stay
I didn't say a word to make you stay
If I would have known
Could I have tried to make it easier
But I didn't do a thing
Or say a word
One word
And I don't know why you're gone, now you're gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you're, you're a star in heaven
My thoughts unsaid
Stuck in my head
And it all feels so useless
Never forget to give all I have
Forgive me
I couldn't do a thing to make you stay
And I couldn't say a word to make you stay
If I could have known
Could I have tried to make it easier
But I couldn't do a thing
Or say a word
One word
And I don't know why you're gone, now you're gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you're, yeah you're a star in heaven
Still I don't know why you're gone, now you're gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you're, you're a star in heaven
You're a star in heaven now
You're a star in heaven
Yeah you're my star
