Fantastic! I look back and am incredibly thankfull I stumbled on this site doing research. I quickly realized this was one of the most promising sites with great vision and a great focus.
Jim - happy birthday, job well done. I can't wear the t-shirt day, but I can wear my hat.

By now Jim I'm just an echo, but many thanks to you and everyone else that mentioned that helped make the Big A what it is today.
I can't tell you how much the Big A has helped my ordinarily boring day become more interesting. I'm dissabled and even your home becomes a prison when your contact to the rest of the world is in one chair, one spot, one corner of the house, on one 19" portal via the internet all day long.
Thank you Jim, and thank you to the sponsors as well.
You people bring a ray of sunshine into this imprisoned soul's life.

As someone said, I wish I would have found this place earlier... it changed my modeler's life and probably more!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ARMORAMA !!!
Jim, thank you for getting this whole site started and shaping into what it is today. All the staff members work as a team to bring all of THIS to all of us members. Armorama is simply the BEST online site out there dedicated to scale modelling.
I joined in May 2003, and I have enjoyed each and every day on here ever since. Sabot (Robin Gronovius)and Tuna (Charlie Murphy) are the 2 individuals who introduced me to Armorama, so I would like to thank them as well
Since I have been a member here, I've made some great new friends, and have made a few happy customers who buy models from my shop. Armorama has been a key element to the success of my own online hobby shop. For that I'm very greatfull. I'd like to thank all the Armorama members who have made purchases with me over the past few years.
Interesting that you picked December 16th, Jim. Looks like Armorama shares a birthday with the anniversary of the Ardennes Offensive (Battle of the Bulge). Good to go !
I have my Armorama T-shirt on today, and I will wear it with pride. This evening I will wear it out to the local pub, and raise a few pints in honor of Armorama !!
Cheers !!

I just can congratulate Jim and all of the original staff members for the great effort made to start and keep running this site during this 4 years. I discovered just this year, when I was starting the hobby after a long break, and I have to say that I was really impressed and happy for the quality of the site, the friendly enviroment and the usefulness of it. To all the members, let´s keep this place running for a long, long time, has become a real 2nd home (virtual I mean :-) ) for many of us.
Congratulations again, and lets keep up the good work around.
Armorama rules!

Hi Jim
Congratulations for releasing a "beast" that have grown very fast and will grow even bigger and better!
What started as a modeling portal, after all turnet to be a place to find and make friends, learn, share, receive and give, to feel happyness and sadness too, to have a feeling of "Mission Acomplished", let's go to the Next one!
I can say that Armorama has made a real difference in my life.
For me, the best of these years as a member, are the Friends that I have made and learn to love and care like Family.
All of Armorama Members ("Regular members" and Staff (yes, we are members too ) should be very happy for achieving a fourth year with dimention that we have today - this was reached with the energy, knowledge, talent and good will of ALL
For all this Thank you
Skipper (proud Armorama user #271)

Jim, congratulations for getting this far! Four years might not seem a long time, but on the internet.....it's a lifetime! To not only last this long, but to have grown the way it has is an achievement you can be truly proud of.
An awful lot of people have made friends with a lot of other people from all over the World, irrespective of national boundries.
Well done mate!
Vinnie

Congratulations mate.... I have said it before and I will say it again. Bringing Armorama to the world is one of the best things you could do. And now you see the results. Getting the 10.000 Member in less then 4 years is absolutely a huge achievement. And all happened in a truely unique friendly way.
You did not bring a site to the world..... you gave it a little city.
Congratulations with the 4 th anniversary... Although I'm not a member of the first hour with my #777 I'm still proud of being a witness of this all happening

Happy #4! I found Armorama in September of 2002. I don't post often, but I am on here every day, and I check frequently throughout the day the latest posts. I know that everyone will keep up the good work, and we'll all be here next year carrying on about how time flies.

4 years ago today eh? Wow! Awesome Jim, it's an amazing thing you've done here with this site. You've created quite an incredible site here, a lot of big company sites can learn quite a bit from the work you've done here with Armorama.
Armorama keeps the hobbyist informed of new releases, in kits, figures, accessories, tools, books, CD's etc.
Reviews of the above mentioned items with some of the most in depth reviews to be found, online and in print.
Seperate areas dealing with specific interests, Aircraft/Armor/Dio's/Figures/Warships etc. Each area having excellent and very thorough and detailed walk throughs thanks to the excellent work of the staff members and Armorama members who offer their time and expertise.
A SUPERIOR forum where people from all over meet to chat about their favorite hobby. It starts as a place to meet and chat about models and ends up being a place where people make good friends. The attitude of the forum here is without a doubt the most friendly of any site I've been to on the web. People will go out of their way to help each other, send each other parts and even whole kits, just because.
As Costas put it earlier, this place tanscends the boundaries of the globe, borders on maps, oceans and political views. All brought together to discuss a love of glueing pieces of plastic together.
I would like to thank Jim also for this site as it lit the fire under my butt to finally get into building kits. Without this site I would probably have built one or two and lost interest out of frustration without the assistance of the many people here who continue to help us new builders out. Thanks a ton!
The original members should all get a hash mark in their profile to show 4 years of "service".
