Celebrating the 4th anniversary of Armorama and incoming New Year, I decided to make a last minute Giveaway to share a few old kits from my stock. Here is the simple rules ;
1. It is open to all Armorama members from Staff members to just registered ones. If not registered yet; please do it urgent.
2.It will start NOW as you see this post in forum and will end at the last minute of 2005 which means posts with the date January 1,2006 will be invalid.
3.Three different giveaways will be held and each member can sign ONLY FOR ONE, so please tell the code or name of your choice in your post.
4.Winners will be picked and announced in Site Talk forum in the first week of January 2006 and prizes will be the sent to their addresses as I learn them via PM or email. No postage will be asked from the winners.
Giveaways:
A.Thanks to Her Majesty : As we all know , Jim spent lots of time and effort in 2005 for us in Armorama making things better. I believe we have to thank his family for being understanding, sharing and patient. Just a poor way to thank her but the winner of this category will be picked by Mrs.Starkweather aka EmerldEyze.
The prize is Revell 07375 Dodge Viper GTS
B.Year of Angels : Since 2001 it has always been an honor for us to have lady modelers in Armorama and 2005 is the year that lady modelers have their own Armorama forum. With this giveaway ; I am expecting they let me in....LOL..Winner of this category will be picked by an Armorama Angel.
The prize is AMT/ERTL Lost in Space Robot
C.Commemorating Mark : Besides many good ones ,we also had some tragically sad events in 2005 .Our friend Joe Szczygielski aka mother shared it with us in forums and showed us Armorama is an internet FAMILY more than a modelling website. Winner of this category will be picked by members of Szczygielski family and I wish Katie picks it.
The prize is Tamiya 14052 Yamaha XV1000 Virago with Touring Rider
I think it is clear enough. I will be pleased to answer if you have any questions.
Bestest regards and GOOD LUCK.

Dear Saint Nicholas,
I have been a very good boy all over the year but your gifts are not suitable for my interest, although I'm a military modeller. :-) :-)
Engin, nice thinking as usual from you.

Hi Engin,
This is a wicked idea what you are doing and certainly a generous one. Like Alguhan, my interest lies in armored tanks so i wont be putting a bid on these ones but just felt you needed to commended for what you are doing.
Great stuff!

OK ...
Being an old beat up, wiped out, overweight, and totally unstable biker, better known as a weebo .... I'll go for #3 aka C
I could build up about 150 pounds on the rider with magic sculpt, and do a self portrait ... LOL

I'd like to enter C if I may. I have a photo of the first Virago that I ever saw, right from Japan when I was there back in the early 80's. I saw the bike on the street and I was blown away. It was so sweet, it even had black leather saddle bags. I had a Yamaha 650 special, black, with the mags. What a classic mistress.
Thanks for the opportunity,
John
