Sure, i used this turret because i wanted a open hatch to give a nice touch, but i think you are right i have to confess i didnot find a picture which depicte an up armored turret on a normal humvee.
So once in a while, i have to say that this is not realistic...

The antenna length has been discussed in a couple of threads, but I cant seem to remember where they are here. I know I measured the antennas along with Gino and a couple of the other guys.
Note, there are two types of antenna, the long green fiber glass ones and the short thin metal black ones.
In a minute, I will look around to see where those threads went.
