I haven't been following the forums too closely as I am engaged in some wargaming projects right now, but what new projects are up and coming, or have at least been announced as definite?

to keep it simple, let's exclude photoetch -- I mean just whole kits, or maybe resin conversion sets to turn kit A into vehicle B.

Tamiya has the following 48th scale kits on the way,

Stug III G
Pz III L
Su 122
Cromwell

Their M4A1 and JagdPanther are currently being shipped to your LHS.

Trumpeter has 3 different M4's listed and Skybow (hopefully) has a Panther, JagdPanther, and Firefly Vc.

I was going to do one of the Sherman kits as my first 48 scale project. However I may just wait for the Cromwell. I just love the look of this tank.

The Firefly by Skybow would also be high on my list to buy also.

I wasn't a really big fan on this scale at first but seeing some of Franks stuff has sparked an interest.

Anyone know if the Skybow Jagdpanther will be an early or late version?

Waiting on some ot Trumpeters shermans, especially the easy 8 kit. As for skybow, anything they release is high on my kit list, which means when I get them, they will also be high up on top of the other kits I have.

I'm hoping that Skybow will at least be in business. I've heard through the romuor mill that they have been taken over by AFV Club!?

Skybow sold off their 1/35 molds to AFV Club. And we thought that was the last we'd hear from them. Luckily, they announced their 1/48 late Tiger I as well as other kits in the scale. Maybe they just retrenched their operations. Let's hope so.

Skybow split off from AFV Club and went their separate way for a while. Then Skybow decided to get out of 1/35th in favour of 1/48th, and sold their 1/35th moulds to AFV Club.

Think that's how it works.....

I asked my Skybow contact to see if he could get me some release dates. I was told that he won't be able to find anything out until after the Chinese New Year, I should also be getting a quote on thier line of airbrushes as well.
