to be fair, you're not involved in this, and i have over 22,000 forum posts elsewhere, i abandoned capitals a long time ago where forum posts are concerned.

i'm trying to make a serious point, i'm not arguing with members, and have no idea who you are or why you're playfully trying to bait me.

it won't work, as i'm not trying to escalate anything into a flame war here. i do take issue with staff abusing members though, but that's all.

In all fairness you are right -however you are tak=lking about Jim Rae (who incedentially is the managing editor of Armorama) who gives a lot of his time and energy to this site. Adam, I don't mean to interject and I've read all this posting and as a member just had to respond.
As anyone on this site can tell you I can be a bit of an a-hole myself, I have disagreed with Jim B., yes he is a little curt [ thank God I spelt that right ] and short, oft times he's correct.
Yes sometimes you need a thick skin to be a member here.
I've told off color jokes and stories, have been missunderstood and people have taken things I've said the wrong way.
Fences have been mended though [ I hope ].
Sometimes it's not easy to get a read on something someone posts, especially typed on a computer, rather then in a one on one communication.
Sometimes the best thing to do is just let sleeping dogs lie.

Anyway welcome to Armorama FagTank, we're all basically good guys here and I hope you stay and enjoy the site.

I am glad you were honest enough to admit that you may have been too hasty. It's a start. However to then just jump back into being defensive and complaining that I (and others I am sure) are being abusive. If telling someone that they are acting like a child is being abusive... well then I guess you are just as guilty.
