Hey Jean-Luc,
Bottlerocket and I are going to do this campaign together and we are now in the process deciding what planes we will build. As soon as we make the decision we'll let you know, but as of right now I'm hoping it will be a P-51 vs. Fw190A-3.

I think as campaign leader you should make Newtothegame change his callsign since it doesn't really fit well into your new graphic. :-)
I propose he change it from Newtothegame to "Newbie" or "Newguy" or even "Rookie". This would make life much easier for us. :-)

I propose we just force Newtothegame to accept an acronym: NttG.

Great Nigel!
No need to look very far. Just check your six, those tracer rounds will be coming from my 190. :-)

So, there you have it Jean-Luc. Bottlerockets P-51B vs. VonCudas Fw190A-3.

Vanize! - Your decals are in the mail! They should be the right ones for a 1982 Syrian Mig-21.

TedMamere! - Great table. I like the idea with the roundels! For Syria, you might want to add two green stars, though:

Cheers!

Ps. Newtothegame has been around for a while. How about "Notsonewtothegameanymore" (doesn''t help that much, I'm afraid).

Well actually I do have an oponent, nicknamed Nezih(a local friend) but seems like he couldn't find the way to enlist himself. Well actually since I am building 1/72 in general I can have more entry, as far as I remember it is not against the regulations. So if there is anyone alone out there bring it oon!!!:}
Savage? Did you get my PM reply?

Yalım, you're on for the Greece versus Turkey showdown.

Please excuse my tardy reply to your PM, been a bit busy lately, I also did some research on the matter. As the F-102 is scarce, instead of the F-5A vs F-102 showdown, how about I build a Greek Mirage 2000 (not sure whether it will be a C or D) and you build an F-16 (A or B variant). As these aircraft have shot at each other before in 1996, our options are a bit more flexible.

Hmm well, Eric, actually they didn't shoot (at least officialy) at each other as far as I know but some went down for sure in "friendly" dogfights over the Aegean Sea. And it is not an official wartime match but if it is suitable with the regulations why not?:] What do you say Jean-Luc?
I can build both F16 series or F4E variant (I have to ask to the experts here which squadon and which models are flying over Aegean region).

Hey Hockeycoach,
There's no need to withdraw from the campaign. JollyRoger may be away or could have simply overlooked your offer. It's happened to me before.
Anyways, try sending him a PM and if there is still no response I'd be happy to include you in on the duel between me and Bottlerocket. He's building a P-51 and I'm doing a FW190, so you could build either an American plane or German and do a 3 way battle with us. I haven't checked with Nigel (Bottlerocket) but I'm sure there would be no problem.
If you decide to take the offer just give me a yell. If not, hang in there and we'll find someone to do the campaign with you. This is going to be too much fun for you to miss out on.

Hi Justin!

There's still plenty of time to find an opponent and I second what Hermon said before. You may join an already constituted duo as three participant are allowed in a "Duel"... but you can also wait a little longer, maybe a nice fat target will show up!
What planes exactely do you want to build?

Hi All

I can build a Bf109 to dogfight with the La7. Just what I was planning on anyway so this is a good incentive.

Thanks for your offer Von Cuda. I have a Bf 109G that I wanted to try so if that fits with your battle it'll work for me. As an old guy not sure what PM is or how to do it. hockeycoach.

I am teribly sorry Justin. I just mis understood your message(I thought you were trying to encourage someone to complete my offer). These are all because my primery language is not English and I am definately not used to US English either. Actually something weird is going on around me, my original partner didn't even enlist yet (sorry just checked, he enlisted at last) and I don't know why but I am already doing multiple projects with Savage and probably Caanbash but why not? Time is long and if you want I can answer your Fashist bird with a 1/72 La7 or La5(which I am already planing to buy and build). I was into figures for the last 10 years or so but suddenly I remembered the joy of fliers and I can't take myself from building(well actually I more like waste the kits but hey isn't it all about having fun?) :} So no problem if you want:}

Oh by the way guys, I have a few German Nacht Jäger models being partly assembeled. Anyone planing to build anything against it? I may respond with a Schräge Musik:}

Add-on: Oh sorry,1- Ok then Eric I am doing an F16A in 1/72. I will try to find markings for a suitable craft.
2- Justin, do you see the "Message" button below the each message? It is a way to send a Personal Message(PM) to the owner of that message. That is called PM.

Nice choice Yalım, I'll be building a "Aegean Ghost" Hellenic F-4E Phantom (maybe Peace Icarus) to counter your 'threat'. See you over the Aegean.
