Dear Jim,
Could you perhaps do a dedicated forum & dedicated gallery where members post pictures of their work spaces.I don't know about you but I find it absolutely fascinating looking at other peoples working invironment, from the things that surround them to the size of their stash
(or is this perverse?)Somehow Idon't think I'm the only one.You can learn a lot about someone just from looking at their workstation but probably more important you can pick up a lot of handy hints ergonomics wise.
Just a thought, regards,
Richardmci.

Richard I absolutely agree with you. A photo of oneself, thier workspace, tells everyone more about that person.
Being cyber modeling buddys is ok but more info and pics. speak a thousand words.
Most likley, most of us won't be able to meet somewhere, sit and suck a couple down and talk plastic & resin, when we do it online a visual is always nice.
My 2 cents - Cheyenne

Skypeing online has been fun, having a few coctails in the cyber cafe and talking modeling dirt, 4 or 5 people can type and talk [ audio ] online all over the globe.

The staff has been using Skype to chat about site issues for quite a while. We have had staffers from all around the world talking in a "conference call" mode.

The main problem is that you do not know one another by voice so it is difficult to identify who is talking at any one time. Any more than four or five people talking at once is almost impossible to keep track of which voice belongs to whom.

Yes, it is free.

Use your callsigns:

"Spooky6, I think blah blah... over."
"Sabot, absolute rubbish, over."

And so on.

I never had a problem, most have no problem recognizing my voice, or maybe it's the accent that gives it away.
