Just so you all know that I actually BUILD models, besides just post comments on the internet.... LOL
Here's my Gaso.Line 1/48 Jagdpanzer IV L/70A "Zweischen Losung" with Tamiya Pz IV J donor kit. (They were review samples from www.wingsntreads.com). I haven't build a 1/48 kit in probably over twenty years!
Will get to painting them very soon.

Hope i'll get mine look half as good.

The plate should be the cover over the MG ball mount, part of the hole for the mount can be seen on the sole survivor at Saumur

Spot the 75mm AP round stuck in the front plate!

Hi Steffan: David is correct, the odd shaped piece I placed on the right front of the sloped armor is to replace Gaso.Line's rendition which was a small diamond shaped piece. The strip at the top of the Pz IV nose armor is to make up for the kit piece which is too short by about 1mm. Very annoying mistake by Tamiya on an otherwise excellent model kit.

Its interesting to see one of these conversion builds in the flesh as I do enjoy the new Tamiya kits and would like to have a go at some of the available conversion kits, which look really very nice.
Keep on letting us know how it all ties together with the paint please.

Nice work Roy.
I am amazed as you are such a prolofic poster and contributer at this site and so many others that are around.
Amazed because how do you make time to actually model and to model so well plus be so active on the Internet?
Whats your secret?
Good time management I guess.
Regards
Sean

Very nice build Roy, looking good even without the paint. Just one question, and it may be the angle of the photos, but it looks like the steel rimmed wheels on the front bogies are smaller than the rubber rimmed wheels? (only three on one side?) And the drive sprocket looks a bit large compared to the rest of the kit? I like the scratched air intake louvres latches, nice touch.
Looking forward to see this painted (soon.. :-) )
Cheers

Hi Henk: Looking over the pictures, I see what you mean. However it's all a perspective issue. The roadwheels are all the same size and the sprocket is fine, too. The 3 on the left side match a photo of the one I'm going to depict, KOd in Czechoslovakia near war's end.
Thnx for the comments, folks. RC
