Yes it's true. Fujimi is supposed to make this in 1/35th and have it out in November for a humble price of $700.00. The pre-order is on Greatmodels and it has me drooling. But, the reason i'm hear hollaring about this is the NEW SWMBO is putting up a minor road block, and I have a Favor to ask From my friends here. Does anyone have a link or pics of the beautiful 1/35th that was built from scratch a few years ago? Thanks in advance STUG

Yes indeed it's comming!!!!

You'll only need a garage to build it; length is over 2 meters, the gun itself is 1,60 meter....

Here's more info and some pictures of the monster:

How much litre glue would this model take?

The 1/35 Dora info has been around since the Nurnberg Toy Fair. SGK-Modellbau.de in Germany and Heller in France are involved. I heard that Fujimi was involved with the distribution in Japan.

In a thread about this over on TL, the pre order price was less... about 500Euro

I've also heard Fujimi is coming out with the 1/35 scale entire coastline of Omaha, but I guess I'll have to pass on that too.

Unless I'm mistaken, but isn't Fujimi only releasing the 1/144 Dora?

I've not read that they are also involved with the 1/35 version.

But I'm open for corrections!

I love the FAQ section that comes with the information of the model:

Will I get divorced when I buy this kit?
Well, that is if your wife does not love you anyway !

Will my husband love me forever if I buy him this kit?
YES! Definitely! And it keeps him away from the bars and casinos and bet-booths and of course from other women! And he will of course always think of you crazy chicken !

:-) :-) :-)

BTW, there is indeed only mentioned the kit is from a HongKong manufacturer and will be produced in China. But no manufacturer name is mentioned. Is it from Fujimi, or is Herbert right, and is it another company that brings the kit?

On this site: http://www.moduni.de/product_info.php/products_id/1539999 is stated that it comes from MetalTroops, an European-HongKong manufacturer that produce in China.
On the site of Metal Troops itself there is no info about it.

First thanks paul for the pic, was trying to find one. I got to admit that $700 us is a bit pricey but it's cheeper than one my new girl says go ahead and get. The LCT4 form AA. The only thing i know is it's being shipped and boxed by Fujimi for the US as well.

I'm already divorced so the FAQ was useless to me, and I think i have a nice Empty room to put her in. I can definatly say that this is a got to get Behemoth for the stash. On that note y'all can buy Tamiya and Testors stock right now as for see me needing about 3 to 400 times the normal amount of supplies for this one. I just hope i can get her convinced, it'll be a shame to see her go, but a big gun like Dora is a need for any railway/artillery collector. STUG

Have to admit, I had my doubts it would ever make it into production. Anyone want to start a pool on when the first one will get built and appear at a show?

Gentlemen,

I emailed this thread and the link yesterday to my beloved Mother and Father. On the title I ask them how much do they love me. I said that I know they love me very much more than anything in the world and I love them the same. If they can over look all the mischef I've done in the past and meant what they said, hopefully I could see a gigantic crate under their Christmas tree with my name tag on it. I know my old man is on the 'puter checking email every night. However, so far its been over 16 hours and still no respondse. I'm keeping my faith... and give you all an update!

Reply to Bill:

I have dibs on the under, that is, less than two weeks after it is released some guy will have one slammed together at a show with about 100 really poorly painted figs under a huge plexi case and win first place in the dio category. I have seen it happened too many times with the DML and Trump Leopold.

Ben:
No, your parents aren't going to buy you one. I already asking them to get the surplus Russian diesel electric submarine (1:1 scale) that is on Ebay so they already have your Christmas present.

Cheers,

Shaun

Dear beloved son,

Please do not write to me when you are drunk like you did with all your ex-girlfriends. Your mother and I alredy got you some clothes for this winter. By the way, are you done with the lawn mower? I need to use it this weekend.

I'm still thinking about getting one. Big sucker to say the least. If it breaks down easily for transport than it'll be a breeze to build and get down the stairs from the model factory. Else I have to hoist it out the window and lower it down.

If the gun down height is not too grand I can squeeze it into a display case. With shelves removed.

Now than, SWMBO. That's not too tricky. It's either this or a HDTV for Christmas. Or I can use my birthday money if the distributer accepts late payments in January. However, it will keep me out of bars. Except when I need to research painting a Bimbo Babe figure. SWMBO won't because of the funny poses with weapons and thongs.

Maybe I should start mowing lawns on the weekends to make some extra cash. Oh crap, it's almost the end of summer and it doesn't snow often in Atlanta so I can't shovel walkways and driveways. Male stripper won't work either, SWMBO has made too many chocolate chip cookies for me over the years.

Stay tuned to this Bat Channel....

Yeah, buddy...I'm gonna be all over this if/when the kit sees the light of day. But I have my doubts about pre-order.

As it so happens I have a good place to display it in my home office. And what the SWMBO don't know won't hurt me

I'm just wondering if this thing is a go yet? Didin't they want 500 - 1,000 commitments with each of them sending in $75 - $100 for a preorder before they would even start to make this kit.? I think I'll pass on this (even if I could afford such a ridiculous price).
