OK gents,

Here is the first pic of my entry to the campaign. I'm working on an Achilles TD and even with the PE set I bought for extra detail, the turret was still kind of bare so I decided to add my own detail to the turret.

That's a Bad A** dozer, barv. I followed the thread and photos the whole time, including all the drama.
My cranemobile is still in this one.

I'm glad this build is a year long. I need every hour of it.

Look, what I found...

A nice project in 1/35.

Finally I started on the scatchbuilding phase of my built: using a resin transmission and a resin engine I try to "build" an interior to a PnzIV. (Not a complete one, though. Just enough to see through the hatches.) Hope it's still acceptable.

Hi folks, after a long time I have managed to build something else.

I decided to build another Tamiya Walker Bulldog, but used a different approach. I used the same aluminium from a soda can, lefover PE, some plastic rod and wire of different sizes, plus some kitbash and an aluminium barrel from Barrel Depot. Yet to do the canvas cover, I think I´ll use some tissue or kitchen foil as recommended by our Dark Side Lord and also best friend Barv

I wish to finished something like this, but with a mantlet cover though:

Hi, I havn't been posting much cos I didn't do much modelling this summer and the site is really slow. But finally, here's my finished ACUTR model, a Beaverette III in Irish army markings from around 1945. Everything that goes wrong with models went wrong with this (simple!) little thing, from messing up the paint and having to respray to seeing my home-made decals disintegrating in a bowl of water! It ended up with numbers from a different type of vehicle altogether just to get it finished. It's all built from styrene sheet with Calibre 35 resin rivets, tyres from a 1/32 toy range rover and the Bren from a Tamiya carrier.

This is my 2nd scratchbuild (to be honest, I was much happier with the first one!) but I'll be doing more for sure, if only cos I like these strange little armoured cars.

Hi all. When I first started this project I had only decided to do the Launcher part of the complete model. The concept was to do a Stand-Alone model of just the launcher part of the whole thing. Deciding on the scale was a little tough because I did not have any measurements of the system. The only thing I had to go by was a drawing of the missile canister. I took these measurements and scaled them down to various sizes, so it would be easy for me to make a choice. I had narrowed my choices down to 1 /35 and 1 /32 scale. So with the help of the few measurements that I got off the Internet and using once again, common 'deductive scaling' ( a new term I made up… the term is similar to 'deductive reasoning'), I decided on a scale closer to 1/32. The canister on the base is slightly larger than 1/32 but it was meant to be just a separate display for the canister.

The model is not 100% exact to scale, as my deductive scaling is not a hundred percent accurate. Close, but not exact. This is what happens when one does not have access to true measurements. One has to improvise like most of you do. So far the launcher is 98% finished. I still have another canister to be built that will be placed on the launcher itself. For now, I think this would do until further down the line when I am done with the second cannister to be placed on the mount.

Here is the WIP Shots of the build:
