Nice surprise after a double shift.
The new forum picture-cons look great.
Nice job Jim.

The dioramas section would be better to have a building icon instead of tree.

I agree. The older ones had a more uniform, professional look.I'll probably be one of the few descenting voices, but I think they look cartoonish. Just my opinion .

Well I think your avatar is too cartoonish. :-) :-) :-)
I was already resigned (last night) to changing the Armorama specific icons. I actually like the ModelGeek Network ones (cartoonish or not they are better "icons").

I rather think there needs to be different/constrasting colors on the Folder thing....

There will be... but that will be based on each site.
You know I do have sufficient IQ to understand that the old icons being different colors and different designs were easier to key in on. However because of this they presented a jumble of colors and designs when displayed on the main forum pages, or the new Network Latest Posts page.
I am going to nicely ask your brain to key in on the design element (the icon) instead of the colors. Don't worry you will apapt.

My 2 cents is that I like the MG one. I'll get used to the Armoama ones. They remind me (now I'm dating myself) of Windows 3.11 and early MAC icons.

I like the icons but because they're all the same colour it's difficult to find what you're looking for. Maybe change the colour of the folders for the relevant topics?

The new folders look very professional, they go well with the site's overall appearance.

Greetings all,
An icon is an icon I suppose, but having used these for a few days I can't say I like them. As was already pointed out the folders being all the same colout just blend into one another and it's more difficulty to zero in on what your looking for.
Not so good for those of use with failing eyesight LOL, LOL.
My thoughts anyway.
Cheers
