Gary, first of all, this is a simple news report about a forthcoming product - it's NOT a review. All that exists (in the public arena) are some initial images of the boxart and a visualisation of the U.S. figures.

Secondly, yes, DML are continuing to update many of their sets although principally it involves adding new weapons and equipment - the figures themselves aren't being updated all that much. It's easy to identify the updates - the all carry the 'Premium Edition' logo. This is equally true for AFV and Ship kits.

Is my eye sight going or is there actually no German figure pointing at something in that set :-)

On a serious note though they do look nice and I am liking those US figs.
Nick :-)

IIRC, the "alternate poses" are created by swapping out alternate arms and heads. Not exactly like the old Airfix Multi-Pose sets, but still awful nice and you end up with some dandy parts for updating older figures -- kinda like making your own "premium figures." You also have to love DML for usually including extra weapons, so you can make your "Frankensteined" figures match the new ones a bit better without a lot of extra work.

My personal wish from DML is to re-do the weapon and accessory sets in Gen-2 fashion. The Allied Infantry Weapons set (Dragon kit no.3815) would be a great place to start!
