For those of you who do not frequent the other quater-scale boards here is a list of what is comming out this spring

Tamiya:
Centurion I&II
Soviet Gaz field car
Pzkw IIIN (w/ schurzen)
Pzkw IV Wirblewind flak (w/ 2 crew figures)
KV-IB Ekranoi (not sure if that is spelled right)
GMC Deuce and a half (this time its for real!)
Panzer field repair crew

Hasegawa
GMC Jeep

AFV
Tiger I early (ex-skybow)
Sturmtiger
Sd.Kfz 251 (-c I believe)

It is very exciting to see a new player in the 1/48th arena!

That Centurion should be a Crusader I and II right?

Just want to keep it all straight.

I am looking forward to the 251 by AFV club.

my apologies

That should indeed say crusader and not centurion

and yes, Hobbyboss will be selling pantographed versions of the 1/35 KV series by Trumpeter.

Alas, no KV-1S...

Would be neat if Tamiya continues with more UK armor in 1/48th, like a Churchill III, and a Matilda II.

One thing to watch with the Crusaders is that Tamiya give you aerial bases for 9 and 19 sets - use one or the other, but not both. The display models show both.

I heard a rumour on another site of ICM releasing a Sd Kfz 222, and an Opel Admiral car, in 1/48 ssometime maybe this year, but cannot find any reference to them at all on the web. Any one have any further rumours or definite info?

Not a rumor. I have the ICM Catalogue for 2007, and with it i'll be doing a summary of the various 1/48th releases for 2007...

The Hobby Boss KV1 and Big Turret KV2 are both simplified versions of the Trumpeter 35th scale kits, and looking at the contents within the box, should build up just as nicely.
