Hello friends
I send to you my last work... Academy’s Kit represented Desert Storm’s Hummer Troop Carrier.
Those who know the model, found in the photos several improvements and necessary modifications that refer to the real model. Also I did a group of accessories and materiels in scratch demountable that goes placed in the vehicle box. The idea... is that this tows a AFV’s Howitzer M102 of 105mm that will be my close model to build
I hope that they like me and they do not stop visiting my site from Argentina... www.afvmodelart.jetband.com.ar

Looking good so far. If you're going to have it tow the M102, you might want to consider a spare tire for that, too. We always had a spare for the gun before a spare for the truck. Looking forward to seeing more progress shots!

Looking good. I like the drop-in rear storage. That is a good way to do it. Keep us posted.

My hat off to you on a clean build. I had a very hard time with the fit of the Academy kit's chassis. You've certainly made it look good.

I agree with Gino. The drop in stowage is a great idea. That will make it way easier to paint and weather.
Build looks nice so far.

Thanks for sharing,
Shaun

Looks really good carlos. The only thing I would do is tone down those panel lines a bit with some drybrushing. Keep us posted!

I´m with Gary... The panel lines shading are overdone in my oppinion! (and as you posted it on a free forum, now you have to let us tell )

The model - as an artwork - is amazing! Eyecatching, very detailed and very well painted. But, as a miniature of a REAL model, it´s overdone to me.

I had never seen a real Humvee with these shades, even in the longer OIF campaing.

But, as it´s always said, hobby is for fun and if you´re satisfied, it´s great!!

Siga armando, Carlos, sus maquetas són muy lindas!!!!

Un abrazo desde Brasil,

Marcelo

Carlos,

Looks great! Did you intentionally leave the mirrors off?

Really nice work, Carlos. Very clean build and as already mentioned ... a very neat idea ... to make the stowage a drop in item ... makes paintng a lot easier, and all the stowage items are tight together and natural. I like the heavy weathering also. Nice one.

Excellent job on the shelter carrier. I would be interested in hearing more about your painting/weathering techniques.
