Only just picked up on the up and coming release of this kit.

Good timing, Al! They'll go well with the ones I have from the WW II Victory Museum. Thanks for posting them.

Hi Guys,
Dave, check you PM's.
Patrick, you welcome.
DJ, I didn'e see a Ferdinand at Bovington on the last trip. I don't thing they have one, although I could be wrong. I'm hoping to get up to Duxford quite soon and will check in the Armoured vehicles section up there, they may have one. If I get any pics I'll let you know.
Chris, Did you get the email and the link?
I had to rush this one as it was almost closing time. Could have done with a few more of the front. Oh well, next time
Cheers
Al

Hello good shots.
I'm fairly sure that Bovington doesn't have a Ferdinand there, I try and get done there once a year and I didnt see one last year - though they had sprung another King Tiger!

Hi Hisham,
Sorry no. I was pushed for time when I got to this one and didn't get any wider shots.

Hi Al
Excellent pictures again
Hisham:
Here's some more stuff on the Renault
http://www.chars-francais.net/archives/renault_37r.htm
In the hands of its temporary owners
And (not quite) finally, the history of Bovington's well-travelled one
http://www.tankmuseum.co.uk/newspress0502.html##
Not quite the furthest-travelled veteran of the 342 CACC though, their H-39s ended up in Syria - via West Africa
Finally, finally - the only only Ferdinand is the one at Kubinka, while Aberdeen has an Elefant captured in Italy. Bovington does have a Jagdtiger with Porsche suspension to make for this.
