Thank you all for your reply`s
James-Its easy to build, you shoult try it ones, start with something small like a ammo box or so.
And go from there to something bigger.
Sonny sy - Yes its close, I think that its around 80% the last 20% is the most work.
And then painting, wich I think take 4/5 weeks.
Thomo kiwi- thank you, yes indeed it looks awesome!.......(big too )
Shaun - it is really coming together , seeing all things together really tells my where my building time was really good for.
Richard- As you can see, the turret sticks out! I coult not have done it without your mailing me something . Thanks again.
Next up is the cleaning parts, rebuilding parts I dont like , finishing parts and still building new parts.
So I lot off work ahead,
And then painting ..ect ect
Ill keep you all posted

What an incredible job. You should be very proud of this one!
The only small issue I see is with the .30 cal MG that you had mounted in one of your pictures above. I think by the time that these boats were in service, the old .30 cal's had been fully replaced by M-60's. Anyway, I am by no means an expert on this subject so I could be wrong.
Regardless, it is a great job. Keep posting pictures.
John

hello john.
In this case your right. but the .30 was used only in a different form till the end of the war.
They where re-chambert to 7.62mm, you can see that on the outside because the barrel is longer.
I still have to make that barrel, as no aftermaket firm produced them
This .30 was an old one just for the test fit. and will be changed
But thank you for the pointer !!

Hi Chris,
Awesome !!!
About the barrel I think you could just add an M60 muzzle to the 30 cal. The pic you posted is quite nice.
There was no re-chambering needed in my opinion and the reason is simple : 0,30 x 0,254 = 7,62 meaning 30 caliber already is 7,62mm.
Your model really rocks ! Congrats on that stunning build !
Cheers,
Richard
