Riich Models have announced a handful of 1/35th Scale (styrene) releases. Here though, is perhaps their most interesting.
Personally speaking, the trucks I like most are the 'chunkier' variety, and, in particular, subjects such as the Skoda-built Radschlepper OST. Now, finally, it's coming in styrene in 1/35th scale from Riich Models.

At the moment, through DragonUSA's website, we can bring you the first glimpse of:

35005 - Radschlepper OST - Skoda RSO (WWII)

Maybe it's the medevac version and they are spare sleeping pads for the back -Pat

Gotcha, Yes maybe sleeping pads for the Medic version! There doesn't seem to be any connection between the "air filter" on the roof and the engine. You think it might be a cab air filter? It seems the engine already has a filter up front but that could be just for the 2 cyl. starting engine.

Something else to add to the list of perfect fit items on this kit: Something I have always wanted other manufactures to do - when you install the hoops over the load bed that support the canvas, make the "canvas" molded plastic FIT OVER the hoops so that in the future you can pose the vehicle with or without the canvas top. Do not make us decide at the outset how we will pose the model. This kit, for the first time in my modeling career, delivers on that desire.

Is there any way to copy over some of this thread into a new topic so I can start a forum topic specifically covering my build of the SRO prototype?

Since you can't edit your own posts I don't think there is. Not that I know of but I would encourage you to do it anyway. You could ask in the user support forum

A few weeks back we talked of the correct location for the windshield wiper motor and also we discussed the question of the correct shape for this item. The image below comes from a 1938 Steyr 220 that I photographed this week at the Lexington, KY. Concours d'Elegance Car Show. This was a standard item of the then German auto industry used by every auto manufacture. And the cross section shape was oval whereas the Riich model shows their's as being circular/round.

Again I absolutely love the Riich offering but there are several small problems with the model that are fairly easy to correct.
