It's been a long time in the catalogues and the news forums, but now it appars there is some movement... Trumpeter has now let us see inside the box....
00358 - Russia KV-1 model 1942 Simplified Turret Tank as Trumpeter have chosen to describe it. this and the KV2 will be the first releases in this (long awaited) new series of vehicles based on the Soviet KV series of Heavy tanks...
Prior to this (and we live in hope of these new kits) he only 1/35th kits have had problems with both age and accuracy. In the case of the Tamiya KVs, part of the worl involves covering up the motorization holes...
Another point worth noting is that both 'link 'n Length' and 'rubber-band' tracks are provided along with full-color illustrations.
No release date yet, but everything indicates it wil be soon...
