Treemendus Models has released a new product onto the market that will make adding realistic hedges and shrubbery to your dioramas and vignettes child’s play. Take a look inside for details.
Treemendus Models has brought together a selection of their products to make hedges and shrubs to compliment your models. The contents of this product are;
• 1 x block of Rubberised Horsehair - 6” x 6” x 1” (Approx - 3’ of hedge 1’ wide)
• 1 x large plait of Canopy (Approx - 1 x square metre of bush’s and shrubs)
• 3 x bags of assorted green scatters (easily blended to make complimentary shades)
• 1 x Scenefix glue - 100ml bottle with atomiser.
• Instructions
Total cost for this product is £20 and has the benefit that it includes everything you need, and if you use up one of the products it is easily replaced as a single item purchase.
When brought together using the included instructions as a guide you can achieve some great results as shown by the included images sent to us by Treemendus Models. The images in order show;
1. The hedge in this photograph is made using Rubberised Horsehair from the Hedge, Bush and Shrub kit and has been teased into a nice open structure. It was then given a light spray with a dark brown aerosol, this adds more depth to the structure. Initially the scatter is attached using hairspray, then once the scatter is in place the whole hedge is sprayed with the glue from the kit to hold it all in place.
2. The same hedge with light a covering of snow.
3. This photograph shows how the Canopy material (included in the kit) can be used to great effect. All the small shrubs on this diorama are simple to make. The Canopy is pulled off the plait and shaped to form small shrubs and bushes. This is then sprayed with hairspray (like the hedges), the scatter is applied and they are finished with the glue supplied in the kit.
