Trumpeter has updated the images available of their Soviet BMP-1 IFV.
Trumpeter has released images of some of the sprues that will be included in their Soviet BMP-1 IFV. Here are the images and information from Trumpeter;

The BMP-1 is a Soviet amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle. BMP stands for Boyevaya Mashina Pekhoty , meaning "fighting vehicle of infantry" . The BMP-1 was the world's first mass-produced infantry fighting vehicle (IFV).

It was a revolutionary design combining the properties of an armored personnel carrier (APC) and a light tank. The Soviet military leadership saw any future wars as being conducted with nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, where unprotected infantry would soon be either killed or incapacitated by radiation or chemical and biological agents. A vehicle like the BMP would allow infantry to operate from the relative safety of its armored, radiation shielded interior in contaminated areas and to fight alongside it in uncontaminated areas. It would increase infantry squad mobility, provide fire support to them, and also be able to fight alongside main battle tanks.

I wonder if the BMP-1 will have an interior like their other latest Modern Russian releases? Mrosko

Oh Hellz yes! I'll take several, interior or not (but please do the interior). Even if it is just the basics like in the -3's on a side note, anybody want to buy a pile of DML BMP-1's and assorted aftermarket, cheap? Mike

Look closely at the floor of the lower hull. That does not look like a plain area for a empty hole is all I am saying...
