A Cold War FlakPanzer on the way from AFV Club, with the help of a Duster.
It looks like another version of the M-42 Duster is on the way from AFV Club, a FlakPanzer version. According to an image on the AFV Club Facebook page, the Duster will be getting West German markings and a few additions in an upcoming release.

Alright! I guess I'll always have a thing for M-42s. It was one of my very first models; I used to play in a preserved one at a park.

A great update to the AFV Club M42 kit. The M42A1 looked great in Bundeswehr markings. Now all we need is some good post war German figures in the Swamp-Camo.

Actually classic unicolor "Gelboliv" would also work. That is a "late German" Duster with the "Kettenblenden" and all other changes so it was used until 1979. And for that a few figures exist. And the more modern "tankers" in tanker coverall could be used, just paint uni Oh and I officially "hate AFV Club. After finishing the "Vietnam" Duster I swore an oath "no more Dusters!" Now I have to break it. Maybe I should swear another "No more M101" and they will produce the german variant

It would be a simple option to include.

Looking at some pictures in Tankograd "Flugabwehrpanzer der Bundeswehr" (No 5021, bi-lingual) the older version basically is the "Vietnam" version with the stowage boxes added (those are part of the kit) and still using the .30 caliber maschine gun. So that version can already be build.
