The replacement for the Russian T-54 was conceived in Kharkov, now Trumpeter is ready to deliver that replacement.
Back in October 2012, Trumpeter announced the coming of the T-64B, well that time is now. The T-64 was one of the Soviet tanks that was never exported, it equipped formations in Eastern Europe and elsewhere. The T-64B would be one of the first Soviet tanks to fire guided antitank missile through the gun barrel and was deployed to East Germany starting in 1981. As for the kit, it is stated to have over 550 parts, photo etched parts, multi-slide molded, and plastic track links.

Trumpeter has stated the kit was to be released in December 2012, but I was unable to find it listed at any of my favorite online retailers, thus let us hope the release is soon.
