This is by way of a confirmation of a story we ran in september. Trumpeter has just confirmed, what will probably be the last of it's 1/35th scale KVs in this 'cycle'

This (theoretically) brings to a close the release of the first KV series (1939-42), the new kit is:

00311 - Russian KVII ”Big Turret” in fact, the correct designation of this vehicle is in fact Model 1940 KV-2 with the (angled) MT1 Turret. The semantics aside, what we have here is a truly unique kit. This version had a much more complex turret than the better known (1941) version (see images). That said, it is a superb subject, farmore attractive than the later version.

At the beginning, I said that this SHOULD finish the cycle of early variants.Hopefully, Trumpeter will now start on the later variants including the KV-1s and the Kv-85...
