The latest news coming out of AFV Club is a very interesting variant of the M-24 that extended its life in Norway.
AFV Club is bringing back the Chaffee, but this time it will be dressed up for the Royal Norwegian Army. The NM-116 was a conversion of the M-24 to save costs on a new reconnaissance tank done in 1972. The gun was replaced with a French D-925 90mm and a new fire control system was added. There were 54 of these conversions done, and they served until 1993 when they were retired.
