Echelon Fine Details have, since they were established, acheived a name for themselves in the quality of their 1/35th scale decal sets. Now, they have gone in a slightly different direction with the announcement that they are now producing Decal Sheets in another scale - 1/72nd....
Three new sheets have been announced, two for WWII German vehicles and the third for M1A1HAs in Operation Iraqi Freedom....

It should also be noted, that although the company has equivalent sheets in 1/35th scale, these 1/72nd sheets are TOTALLY New, NOT simply re-scales of their 1/35th sheets...

Beginning with the two WWII sheets:

AXT721010 - Panzer-Lehr & Das Reich Panthers (Ausf Ds & As) US$9.50

This sheet is an attempt to cover all the alpha-numerics used by the well known Panzer-Lehr and Das Reich Panthers. One of more unusual aspects of this sheet is the personalised names found on some the Panzer-Lehr Panthers during the Normandy / Normandie Campaign. However, so far only two of the names can be associated with full turret numbers: "Gerda" & "Ursula"

The sheet contains markings for FIVE Specific vehiles along with 'generic' markings for more....

AXT721005 - Schwere PzAbt 502 & Schw.Pz.Kp. Meyer Tiger Is (US$9.50)

This sheet covers the very diversified markings and camouflage used by the 502 Tigers. Being the first ever heavy battalion to employ Tiger Is, it received almost every production types (minus the late and final versions). The Tiger "2" (and very likely "3" as well) were Initial types.Markings for a whopping 26 specific vehicles!

Starting with Schwere Pz.Kp. Meyer Early Tigers, there are two known vehicles with personalised names across the frontal hull armour. The vehicle numbers were also very unique to these tanks, being very narrow and tall

Markings are included for no less than 26 specific vehicles....

The third set takes us into a more recent conflict, with:

T72015 - US ARMY 1-64 Armor, HQ & C Company M1A1HA Abrams in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" (US$9.50)

The set includes Complete markings for ONE entire platoon (four 2nd platoon gun tanks from C company), plus three other vehicles. Two of which are HQ vehicles plus a C company commander's tank.... This set includes stencilings for the mine plows and two different types of LOGMARS shipping labels, plus much more...
