There is a new company making tracks, Orochi, a subsidiary of Takom, has announced their first releases.
Orochi is a new company and they are have announced their first set of releases, tracks. These new tracks are listed as “cement-free” workable track-links and includes two for the Type 10 and one for the Leopard 1.
Here is a description from the company:
Our tracks design is similar as MENG's T-90 track. It use two materials (soft gum and plastic),in order to keep the tracks be highly reliable and workable and follows the real tank track’s construction. Compared to the primitive workable track, Our products have solved the problem of monotonous ,dull and tedious making process. By optimizing the technology, our products use insert a plug instead of traditional glue, which largely reduce the assembling time. It's very very easy to make. I consider that all modelers will love it! We think it is the best design of the double-pin tracks at present.
PF-001 – Type 10
PF-002 – Type 10 without Rubber
PF-003 – Leopard 1
The first three sets should be available in Mid-November.
Armorama would like to thank Takom and Orichi for informing us of this great looking news.
