that looks nice. So how is the spare wheel attached to the battering ram?

My best guess would be threaded rod welded to the ram. That's how I envisioned it at least.

I can't see any difference, the Gimel and the Dalet version by AFV Club have the sames kind of ERA on the front. But I think, there's a difference! As shown on Roberts picture and in the 2 Legend resin kits. Maybe the AFV pics were made with a testshot and the real model kit will contain the right ones!? Michael

Gotrek58 Shot Kal Dalet has the fire control system (see the wind sensor at the back of turret) - it's his main difference from Shot Kal Gimel; Differences in ERA has tanks based on Centurion Mk3 or Mk5 hull.

In addition it have a laser range finder and therefore a new cover - 'M60 style' - for that (in front of the commanders hatch). Also the thermal cover around the barrel is part of the Dalet upgrade. Cheers, /E

Hi gents, Can someone tell me what is that armored protection device on top of the turret, just behind the helmet on that pic ? Thanks Richard

Richard, If I am not mistaken, that is an armored tank instructor seat that is visible behind the CVC helmet. The Israeli's have a specific name for it but it allows an observer to watch the tank crew actions as it maneuvers the vehicle or fires gunnery during training. HTH John

Bingo. The term used in IDF armor school for the TC instructor is "ganan". Nice addition, first time I see it on a scale model. Israel
