Jim, I am no tiger expert so I have to ask. What model of tiger is this? I notice a lack of zimm on the photo. I have been trying to locate an initial other than Tamiya for awhile.

Mark, a this Tiger will have a build date of April/May 1943. See this site for a list of points distinguishing it: LINK I and others have been working with Dragon to get all the little details correct. David

Mark, this is the early Tiger that conatined all the "improvements" not seen on the Initial...mainly the track guards, tow cables, feifal system and the extra track links on the turret. This Tiger would have served in the retaking of Kharkov, and the Zittedelle offensive. After Zitedelle, the LAH handed their Tigers over to the Das Reich and Totenkopf Divisions when the LAH was sent to Italy to help disarm the Italian Army. Apart from the specific decals for Wittmann's Tiger, i am not sure if there would be any diffrence between Wittmanns Tiger and other Early Tigers. Regards from the Swamp Eth

Ethelian, this tank will have the loader's periscope, the simplified Feifel and the triangular access plate on the rear engine deck. So it's different to the Cyberhobby DAK Tiger in all those respects. Even to make the Bovington vehicle (March 1943) you would have to combine the two kits! David
