RMG Resin Models has just sent us an announcement that they are releasing some cool new products as well as retooling some old ones. While their website is a bit dated there are some cool items with descriptions listed there and many have prices too! Be nice if they listed their distributors, just a blank screen on their web site. Tow cables interesting, but you can do the same thing....nice stuff, cost?

Really? Then enlighten us please. If this is flexible/posable cable like Karaya and Eureka XXL, I really don't know a DIY method. It ain't picture hanging cable or cable you could twist yourself. Cheers, Christophe

I have been looking at pictures of these cables and I am hooked as regards interest in just how well they perform. the finish looks realistic and I like the idea of a cable core with a wrap around sheath.

Good for you C_J. I am with you.

One could certainly wrap their own wire rope that would look fine from three or maybe six feet away, but it won't look like a machine-made item as these and the real rope do. One could also get some other cable somewhere but it probably won't look like this where the outer wraps are smaller than the core. If that's what you want to do with your models, swell, but I understand what can be done at home and what can't, and am willing to pay to get something better for mine. KL

I have been in touch with the owner of this company reference the comments on a lack of prices and a lack of distributors. The reply I got is simple; as the company is just starting up again they currently have no distributors other than direct from them, the prices have not been set as they are new items they have coming online. As soon as prices are set we will be informed. The news story is slightly inaccurate, which is my fault for not clearly understanding the information imparted to me. These are new lines, but they are not ready for sale at this time. I have been informed that some advance items will be sent to me for review. Perhaps Kurt would like to review a set of them and provide an unbiased opinion on the product.
