Ammo has some new releases for the end of the year. Three new ranges of products for mud and metallic paints.
The Heavy Mud series is a textured enamel medium perfect for creating accumulations of textured high density mud and earth of different tones. It can be applied with a brush or tool, and manipulated or removed with a clean brush moist with thinner.

The shades available are:
Dry light Soil
Thick Soil
Turned Earth
Moist Ground
Heavy Earth
Wet Mud

The second range is Splashed Soil, again a textured enamel intended for creating accumulations of medium density textured mud and earth.
You can choose between these colours:
Dry Earth
Dry Steppe
Loose Ground
Turned Dirt
Damp Earth
Wet Ground

Finally, there is a new range of Acrylic Metal Colours. They share the formulation and characteristics of the AMMO acrylic colours. Easy to apply with a realistic metallic appearance, these colours are non toxic and can be mixed with other AMMO acrylic colour. They are water soluble and can be used either with brush or airbrush.

The new colours are:
Old Brass
Steel
Polished Metal
Titanium
Aluminium
Silver
Warhead Metallic Blue
Brass
Gold
Copper

I remain skeptical that acrylics can deliver the metalized look I'm seeking, but will perhaps give these a try. The mud & soil sound interesting.
