In a rather surprising but welcome announcement Trumpeter will be bringing us a 1/35 JGSDF type 75 155mm Howitzer. Although mostly replaced by the type 99 it has served for decades and uses the Type 74 automotive components, so may be useful for updating your old Tamiya kits even if SPG's aren't your thing. Etokin Model used to have a conversion kit that cost over $200 so this might be a touch less painful!
