The new figure from MK35 shows a WWII US Military Police.
The figure comes with two right arms, so it can be shown either showing a direction or holding a rifle on his shoulder.

I like this little guy! The sculpting is very nice, with the exception of the way that the M1938 Leggings for Dis-mounted Troops, (12-inch-style), and Service Shoes were executed. I'll be replacing those, which is certainly no problem for me, as I keep a healthy stock of extra parts in my Parts Bins. Otherwise, this figure lends itself to quite a few different scenarios, in my own imagination, anyway... MK35 makes a very interesting plethora of figures that can be used and/or adapted to virtually any WWII European scenario. Their Civilians are also worth a look...

Although MK-35 has a large inventory of all kinds of figures, some (a lot, really) are a bit crudely sculpted compared to companies like Alpine. Their prices are a bit too premium for the quality, but definitely a lot better than Verlinden!

Hi, Biggles! I NEVER leave well enough alone with any of my modelling projects, anyway. I haven't built anything "straight-out-of-the-box" since I was about 8 years old, when I "converted" an old 1/40 REVELL M4 Artillery Tractor into what I thought at the time to be a reasonable facsimile of an M3 "Stuart", using paper Index Card stock to build the Upper Hull and Trurret... Oh, well... I've bought Mk35 Figures, and what you say is true- They ARE crude, when compared to what ALPINE makes. The only criticism that I have of ALPINE, is that the majority of them are WWII Germans, with the fingers of the vertically-oriented hand together, gesturing, (pointing), towards SOMETHING, off in the distance... SOMEWHERE... Otherwise, ALPINE Figures are beautifully done, especially the latest WWII US 3rd Armored Tankers. At least THEY, are not pointing... Re: The Mk35 Figures- The FIRST thing that I do with them is, I replace their Heads with HORNET/WOLF Heads & Hands, depending on what kind of figure it is. Then I "under-cut" the various clothing details, and clean up all the seams. Sometimes, I alter the clothing, as well. If need be, I will also re-work the Arms and Legs to a more casual, natural aspect. As far as the new US Army MP is concerned, once I get my hands on this guy, THOSE AWFUL M1938 Leggings and Service Shoes will be replaced with the same from my stock of WWII US Figure parts. Very likely, I will also replace his Head and Helmet with one of my WARRIORS (now defunct) WWII US Heads with M1 Helmet, OR, barring that, a HORNET Head, with an older DRAGON M1 Helmet from their WWII US Tankers (4 Figures) Set. I bought about a DOZEN of those sets JUST for the M1 Helmets, M1938 Leggings & Service Shoes, and the separate US Tanker Helmets & Goggles. Now, THAT'S DEDICATED!
