Amusing Hobby has informed us that the two versions of the Conqueror will be available this month of September, and the Rheintochter will follow in October.
Meanwhile, we can see the sprues and box for the Conqueror 215B and the boxart for the Rheintochter-R, a prototype anti-aircraft rocket .

Haha I blocked that guy a long time ago but I have to admit sometimes I miss reading his nonsense. Maybe he's actually a bot? Terry

The Conqueror was withdrawn from service after the MK5 Centurion got into production, as the British army considered the latter's 105mm to be well sufficient ever since the Soviets stopped their focus on conventional heavy tanks.

If I may be permitted a few observations? (Yes I know I don't have the final kit in my hand!) No clear sprue is shown. Not too worried personally about vision blocks but there are 2 very large headlights on the front, so I hope that is catered for. I have not been able to identify the headlights on the sprues so far, although the guards are there in PE. I notice the decals allow you to 'build your own licence plate'. That's a nice flexible touch. Oh I don't see a dust cover for the mantlet, either on the sprues or the completed model. A pity if not included but not a deal breaker. I am encouraged by the turret on the sprue, at least to my untrained Mk 1 eyeball! Also, notice how the plate with the driver's hatch and the the one in front of that are separate? Could it be a Mk II may be coming in the future? I believe those would cover the external differences between Mk I and II - you may correct me if I'm wrong but I remain hopeful!

I'm not sure what to think about the tracks, I really loved their pinned tracks in their Object 279 they went together beautifully, (although I was short by about 20 links, thanks to Pacific Coast Models for helping me with that). Are those ice cleats to the left of the track links, or are they some sort of "trap part" to hold the links together and still be workable?
