Announced for November the new model from Amusing Hobby, a Panzerwaffe 46 Jagdpanther II.
Inspired by the game World of Tanks, this fictional vehicle is a mix of the Jagdpanther with the Elefant and a 128mm gun.

As it can be seen on the last image, the suspension is articulated.

MLD For some reason Resins and vac forms were very popular in continental Europe. Many long OOP models find their way onto Ebay.de. Always worth a look especially for rarer items.

I would not urge you to take a kit more seriously than you want to. Please don't expect me to take it less seriously than I want to. David [/quote] I think the point Byeol is making is that this isn't a serious kit, it's loosely based on some impractical design brief never even getting to wooden mock up stage. This is a whif and nothing more. There are plenty of kits of actual vehicles and produced prototypes far more deserving of the time spent in accuracy and practicality discussion. While I personally don't like the design premise either Amusing Hobby are a company who very obviously like the WOT style paper panzers and more power to them. Now if they produced a Tiger, Panther or Sherman and it was rubbish then game on ..... cheers Brent

I quite fancy a bit of cross kitting. Slap a Panther G (Steel Wheels) hull on this chassis and this superstructure on the Panther G chassis and you have the basis of a Panther II and Panther Zerstorer. And here for Christmas....happy days.

Well, I'm happy for you guys- As for myself, it's only mildly interesting subject-matter, but that's just me, being a US/Allied fan who isn't into "Paper-Panzers", very much... Conversely, I DO like what DRAGON has been doing with their new and up-coming Hetzer-based vehicles, and the new "Bergehetzer" coming from THUNDER MODEL...

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people have negative feelings about manufacturers producing kits of tanks that didn't actually exist. So called "paper panzers". My opinion regards the matter is quite simple, if it's not to someone's liking, they can choose to place all their efforts on a kit they do like. Amusing Hobby has found a gap in the market for a series of kits that some of us would be interested in purchasing. All the existing panzers have been produced in all sorts of variations over and over again. Would their critics prefer that Amusing Hobby produce a Tiger or Panther instead..?

Nah, at least 14. Everybody in the crew holds one in their lap. As a fan of the What IF, it looks interestingly promising.
