Riich Models has sent Armorama news of their latest Universal carriers. This offering, judging by the artwork, will be appearing through the dust of the desert.
This version of the Universal Carrier is the Mk II offering in a machine gun configuration. Anyone who has tackled one of these offerings will I am sure, confirm that these models are not aimed at the beginner, the small size, quantity of photo etch and high small plastic parts count will test many modellers, but can result in a stunning model depending on the modellers skill set. An example of the detail here is that the tools are supplied clean and photo etched parts are supplied to make up the clamps. The one thing I would have liked to see included or made available separately is a set of figures specifically for the model. Three finishing options are provided, 2 British vehicles and a Canadian one.
