A new set of two figures for the M40 Gun Motor Carriage in Korea has been announced by Hobby fan
Not much information other what you can see in this sole photo, two US soldiers on a M40 for the Korean war.

The figures are in resin and set will have code HF373

Can anyone positively rule-out using these guys in the ETO during WW2 -I'd like to place them on my M-12 in absence of anyone else vaguely useful.

Well, for one I don't think their clothing - or the lack of it - is suitable for the weather conditions during the ETO operations in 1944 - 45... EDIT: Maybe in Normandy and Northern France in the summer of 44... but not later.

They are wearing herringbone twill as can be determined by those pockets. But their state of dress like said already rules them out for NE Europe except July, August 1944. They would be good for the Pacific or in Italy in World War II. At least they should have t-shirts for NE Europe.
