Recently released, W-Model shares photos of what to expect inside the box
Known by its NATO code name SA-8 Gecko, the 9K33 OSA is a highly mobile, low-altitude, short-range tactical surface-to-air missile system. It was intended to defend troops on the march, in mobile combat, as well as to protect strategic ground facilities against air strikes. All versions of the SA-8 Gecko feature the all-in-one 9A33 transporter erector launcher and radar (TELAR) vehicles which can detect, track, and engage aircraft independently or with the aid of regimental surveillance radars. Aside from the Soviet armed forces it was in use by other countries and has seen action in previous conflicts such as the Angolan Civil War, Persian Gulf War, and even as recent as the 2011 Libyan Civil War.
