Trumpeter shares further information and photos of its kit on the BMPT-72 heavy infantry fighting vehicle.
Also known as Terminator 2, the BMPT-72 was unveiled during the 2013 Russian Arms Expo 2013 at Nizhny Tagil. It is armed with dual 2A42 30mm auto-cannons, Ataka-T launchers -- similar to that of the BMPT, except for the two 30mm grenade launchers that have been removed. The BMPT-72 is crewed by three and has an operating radius of 500km.
Russian BMPT-72 Terminator-2 (09515) features refined details such as a multi-slide molded hull, and individual track links. It is an injection molded kit containing more than 950 parts in 27 sprues, 3 photo-etched frets and a decal sheet. Dimensionally, the built model stands at 211mm in length and 110mm in width.
