Gecko Models provides further details on its WWII British infantry figure kits.
  • W.W.II British MG Team in Combat (N.W. Europe) 35GM0013
  • W.W.II British MG Team in Marching (N.W. Europe) 35GM0014
All the above are injection-molded kits in 1/35 scale. A decal sheet and a photo-etched fret completes the offering for both kits.

Are you talking about the box art, or the plastic parts? They are (or appear to be) Brodie Mk ll helmets. The rivet on top (on the kit parts) appear to be slightly over-stated, but not by much. Maybe where the bowl parts meets the brim is a little too sharp and should be more curved, but it's difficult to be sure without actually checking the parts in hand. They seem to be well proportioned. [/quote] The boxart looks better than the kit parts, from what I see. You are correct about where I also think th helmets are "off" and it seems to be worse in the pics on the sprue. J

I would agree regarding the helmets. It seems many companies, both plastic and resin struggle to get a good representation of this helmet.

Hornet heads will sort things out.

Any decent reasonably priced plastic British figures has got to be a bonus.

Maybe, but Hornet have better sculpting and animation.

Are they already available?

Can't find anyone who distributes Gecko Models anywhere in the USA. Squadron is supposed to be a distributer but they don't have any in stock. Looks like they have some cool 1/35 kits....so far all British subjects (YEAH!!!!).

AFAIK none of their kits is one sale yet. Their website says nothing neither...
