Italeri re-issues its kit on the WWII German multiple rocket platform based on the Opel Maultier chassis.
Low in cost, and highly effective in large-scale barrages, the Germans made extensive of use of multiple rocket launchers during the Second World War. Mobility however was an issue, thus the 150mm rocket-launcher Type 42 was mounted on the Sd.Kfz. 4/1 Maultier half-track, which guaranteed better movement, especially in off-road conditions.
Italeri’s 15cm. Panzerwerfer 42 Ausf. Sd.Kfz. 4/1 (6546) is a 1/35 scale injection-molded kit that may be built with either one-piece rubber or link-and-length tracks. Decals for three finishing options are included in the kit.
