The RSD-10 Pioneer from W-Model is almost ready, and expected to be released next month.
Known also as SS-20 Saber, it was a Soviet intermediate-range ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead.

It was carried on a MAZ-547A transporter-erector-launcher, a six axle truck.

This model is going to be the biggest kit of W-Model so far, and it is already available for preorder.

Just one taste was all it took... now you're hooked! The same questions were asked on their FB page - answers: Pre-order: write to them at [email protected] Price: "pricelist will be later". Whether you want to do the first without knowing the answer to the second is up to you of course... it does say this is their biggest ever kit, and the Scrooge was 89 euros, so I'd imagine it's got to be at least that.

Excellent diorama idea included in their FB post... wonder if anyone does a suitable car?

Here you go! Google translate the page. Go to index on and left select Russian cars. A lot of vehicles in either 1/34 or 1/36. I saw a diorama with one of these here on Armorama. With a little clean up and repaint it looks quite convincing. Cheers! LINK

Now here's a bad-assed beastie that should be offered in 1/35th!

According to W-Models, these two launchers are on their way to being destroyed in accordance with the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
