Chris says the new company’s purpose is to provide figure enthusiasts with very high quality figures of original subjects at reasonable prices. The plan is to produce resin figure kits in 1/35 scale, 54 mm and 1/16 scale. The company may eventually expand into other scales as need and opportunity arises.

New World Miniatures plan is to use the best sculptors and the finest casting techniques. Some of the sculptors involved are Jeff Meckley
(Think One Eighty Studios) and Brian Stewart (Jaguar etc). They also hope to have their first figure on the market soon; an original 1/16 scale figure by John Rosengrant of a WWII Marine in the Pacific on the corner of an M4A2 Sherman.

Chris says ”We do plan on a good number of WWI figures as well as WWII vehicle crews. If you are looking for a ton of SS figures from us you will be massively disappointed, I do believe that there are other subject matters that can be modeled, I am not saying that we won't be doing any SS figures because this is not the case. We just want to see more of the other type of figures; you know; the forgotten armies and soldiers of the world.”

Welcome news indeed.
