Released in April, have a look at further details and images of Trumpeter's kit on this Cold War Soviet artillery platform.
The 2A3 Kondensator 2P was a Soviet 406mm self-propelled howitzer. First seen in 1957 during a Red Square parade, it was thought that the weapon was a mere mockup, created for deterrent effect. It had a crew of 8 and had a rate of fire of 1 round per 5 minutes. There were 4 Kondensators built, and were in service in 1956. All were retired by the mid-1960s.
