Echelon Fine Details has informed us of its new releases as well as a re-printed item.
ALT352011 Matildas in North Africa, Malta & Crete (Re-print)
An expansive set covering the Matilda IIAs that served and fought in Africa, Malta and Crete. A total of 15 unique vehicles in the first release, now back in print with an additional 2 vehicles (2018 edition). Making it 17 vehicles in total. "Queen of the Desert" is back again!
AXT351012 8. SS-Pz.Rgt. 2 Tiger Is
This set covers 8 specific vehicles from Pz.Rgt. 2 that saw action in Kharkov. It had two main styles of turret numbers: one slightly blockish while the other more curved. Not often detected is the unit symbol in at least two thicknesses. Some images show it being really dark - possibly black or maybe another colour (red?). Of special interest is "821" that had a cartoon caricature at the hull front. It sits just behind the tool. The PE part provided may just be simply detached from its backing sheet.
D356255 1st Cavalry M113s in Vietnam
Early vehicles had interesting names / slogans on the sides, but did not come with serials or bumper codes. One interesting M125 Mortar Carrier is also featured in this set. This unit is uniquely identified by "squarish" colored rear corner on both sides of the hull. Red for A Coy, White for B Coy, Yellow for C Coy and Blue for HQ. The "squares" are often different sized from vehicle to vehicle.
D356256 Gun Trucks in Vietnam (Part 1)
This set covers two M54A2-based gun trucks, "THE MATCH BOX" and "THE UNTOUCHABLE", plus one standard M54 (without winch) truck that served with the USMC in Vietnam. The USMC truck had interesting markings as well, including a winged-A emblem on the bumper, plus the unit marking on the doors and front of the hood. Also included are fine stencils found on each truck, plus the yellow-placards for the cargo bed sides. All precisely captured and sized based on the actual vehicles. Armour plating templates for both gun trucks are provided.
WWII German Generic Sets
These sets may be used on any German AFVs: actual in-service types; "what-if" prototypes; and Panzerwaffe 46 "paper panzers". The actual font style is based on historical references. Also included are colorful markings (fictitious emblems, original Echelon FD designs) that can help you spruce up your builds.
