Trumpeter shares further information and sprue images of its recent release.
Containing over 1,500 parts, Trumpeter’s Pz.Kpfw.VIII Maus (09541) features a full interior, multi-slide molded lower and upper hulls, individual track links, chain, and photo-etched parts. A decal sheet for 5 finishing options completes the offering.

The built model stands at 298.9mm in length and 105.7mm in width.

Except for the crew hatches ,all the good ones are molded shut by the looks of it I know an easy fix...... but come on !

I knew that this one was coming after the earlier releases, and while I have always considered the Maus as a useless and foolish waste of scarce resources it should make an admirable doorstop in 1/35. The fact that this pointless model comes with an interior merely gives it more weight for that task. Definitely not a fan.

It would seem that all the the engine hatches are molded shut! Way to go Trumpeter... LOL!
